1 I will aextol You, O Lord, for You have blifted me up,
And have not let my cenemies rejoice over me.
2O Lord my God,
I dcried to You for help, and You ehealed me.
3O Lord, You have fbrought up my soul from
I.e. the nether world
Sheol;
You have kept me alive,
Some mss read from among those who go down
that I would not igo down to the pit.
4 jSing praise to the Lord, you kHis godly ones,
And lgive thanks to His holy

nname.
5For oHis anger is but for a moment,
His pfavor is for a lifetime;
Weeping may qlast for the night,
But a shout of joy comes in the morning.

6Now as for me, I said in my prosperity,
“I will rnever be moved.”
7O Lord, by Your favor You have made my mountain to stand strong;
You shid Your face, I was dismayed.
8To You, O Lord, I called,
And to the Lord I made supplication:
9What profit is there in my blood, if I tgo down to the pit?
Will the udust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness?

10 vHear, O Lord, and be gracious to me;
O Lord, be my whelper.”
11You have turned for me xmy mourning into dancing;
You have yloosed my sackcloth and girded me with zgladness,
12That my

absoul may sing praise to You and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will acgive thanks to You forever.
